Rachel Kaufman, LMT
Why I do this work.
I'm a trans woman and a licensed massage therapist with 13+ years of clinical experience. I came to this work because I needed it first — because I know what it's like to walk into a practitioner's office and feel unseen before the session even starts.
My practice is built on two commitments: deep clinical skill, and the kind of presence that lets queer, trans, and neurodivergent clients actually settle into their bodies during a session — instead of managing the practitioner.

How this practice is different
Clinical skill
Thirteen years of actual technique. Myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular. Not a spa, not a template.
Consent that's real
Intake is slow. Check-ins happen during the session, not just before. You can redirect or stop at any point.
Identity-aware
Rachel shares the lived experience of many of her clients. You don't have to explain why something matters.
